Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam's visit to Edinburgh

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India made a private visit to Edinburgh at the invitation of University of Edinburgh from 13-16 May, 2014 to deliver keynote address at the inaugural conference of Edinburgh-India Institute of University of Edinburgh. During the visit, Dr. Kalam was conferred with Honorary Degree of Doctor of Science by the University of Edinburgh for his achievements. He also visited the research labs pertaining to Rushbrook Fire Lab, Flowave Testing, Centre for Excellence in Robotics as well as Brain Research Development Centre.
